Chamcha wood is a popular choice for both functional aesthetic purposes in woodworking. The acacia tree is typically 15-20 meters in height but this can vary on its age, environment and growing conditions.

The Chamcha (Monkey Pod) Waterfall style table is a modern and rustic furniture piece crafted from chamcha wood. It features a waterfall design, where the wood appears to seamlessly flow from the table top to the floor, creating a visually stunning ‘‘cascading‘‘ effect.
Chamcha wood aka Monkey Pod wood is a tropical hardwood native in Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands). It is known for its durability, resistance to rot and natural intricate grain patterns. The wood has contrasting tones, such as rich browns and golden hues.
It needs a finish sanding and oiling.
Espave wood (also known as wild cashew) is known for its durability and versatility which makes it suitable for plenty of woodworking projects. Espave wood has a light to meadium brown colour, very similar to mango wood. Espave wood is very tough and almost impossible to decay meaning it is also good for outdoor use. This wood comes from a tree species called Anacradium excelsum and it can reach heights up to 20 to 40 meters when fully grown.
