Fossilized Oak Log Dining Table
£9,900.00

This dining table is crafted entirely from a single fossilized oak log, estimated to be around 1,500 years old. Recovered from a gravel quarry in Transylvania, the oak has undergone a natural fossilization process over centuries, resulting in rich mineral tones and an extraordinary surface texture.

The tabletop is made from two book-matched slabs, showcasing a striking mirror effect in the grain. Natural cracks and voids have been carefully filled with black epoxy resin, highlighting rather than concealing the wood’s ancient character.

The legs are sculpted from the outer sections of the same log, where the fossilization is most visible. You can clearly observe how the transformation has progressed from the bark inward, with darker, blackened textures near the bark fading into warmer tones toward the core.

A next-generation finish was used to preserve the authentic colour of the wood, allowing us to fully appreciate the natural hues and mineral patina formed over centuries. This table is not just a functional object, it is a rare and timeless artefact of nature and craftsmanship.

Book Matched Walnut Dining Table
£6,200.00

Made from two walnut slabs from the same tree, arranged in a mirror (“open book” style). The cracks were left unfilled, with some secured using butterfly keys made of black limba (an African wood species). The wood grain is beautifully wavy, mirrored in perfect symmetry across the two halves of the tabletop.

The legs are made from solid walnut, two of them featuring a knot that naturally continues on a different plane to the one found in the tabletop

Single Slab Solid Oak Dining Table
£3,300.00

Made from a single slab of solid oak, this table retains all the richness of the wood's grain and organic features, while its irregular sides have been subtly corrected using translucent epoxy resin.

Both long edges were straightened with epoxy to achieve a harmonious rectangular silhouette, blending nature's imperfections with human precision. Cracks and voids were carefully filled with dark resin, preserving the character of the oak while enhancing its durability and practicality.

Walnut Live Edge Dining Table
£7,800.00

This dining table is crafted from two book-matched live edge slabs of solid walnut. Carefully selected and arranged to mirror each other, the slabs remain unjoined, separated by a narrow gap that runs through the centre. This subtle void becomes a space of tension and harmony, as if the two sides are engaged in a quiet conversation.

At each end, natural voids have been left open, honouring the raw, organic story of the wood. Rather than concealing these imperfections, they are embraced as essential parts of the narrative.

The table stands on solid walnut legs, reinforced by a live-edge stretcher that echoes the contours of the top. Visible butterfly joints at one end secure and celebrate the natural movement of the wood.
